Policies
Coop/Disaster Recovery
- Clients are allowed two annual test at no charge. These test must be schedule at least 30 days in advance and will normally be 8am to 6pm Tuesday thru Thursday. Other times are available per agreement.
- All testing will be cancelled if a client with a declared disaster is utilizing the facility.
- Clients who choose to test from their home location will need to supply the following at least one week prior to test:

Network Layout
- Clients who choose to test from their home location must notify MSI at least two weeks prior to test.
- Clients must keep a current copy of their IOCP on file with MSI.
- Clients who choose to test locally must comply with all MSI Security procedures including acceptance of video monitoring and recording.
- The use of 3490s, 3590s, 6262, and 6400s is included in all client DR contract.
- There is an upcharge for the use of laser printers, 3592s, 3494s, 3584s, and STK tape equipment.
System Archiving
- Moves from Freezer level to any higher level require 72 hours notice to MSI
- Moves from Cold level to any higher level require 24 hours notice to MSI
- Moves from Warm level to Hot level require 4 hour notice to MSI
Certified Data Destruction
- Certificates are generated only after destruction is completed and invoices paid.
- CDD is not automatic with MSI's purchase of used equipment, and no "after the fact" certificates will be issues.
- CDDs requested after an equipment agreement is signed will be billed at the then current rates.
Econowise Maintenance
- Under MSI's "Econowise" agreement, 3490 and 3590 tape drives will be serviced after the agreed to limit has been reached, or at MSI's convenience.
